Dr. Andrea Jeftanovic completed a successful scientific-cultural exchange related to her current research projects
Dr. Andrea Jeftanovic Avdaloff, part of the academic staff at the Department of Linguistics and Literature, completed a successful scientific-cultural exchange related to her current research projects. First, she gave a lecture at the 10th CEISAL international conference in the University of Helsinki, Finland, associated with the Special Group CLACSO Balkans-Latin America, which she co-coordinates. The core topic in question was “Uncertain paths: Latin America post globalization.”
Afterwards, Dr. Jeftanovic made another presentation at the Conference of Hispanists on its 50th anniversary in the University of Belgrade and the Cervantes Institute. She also held a work meeting with Rector Dr. Milan Kulic and Slobodanka Krulj, who is in charge with international relations at the University of East Sarajevo.
In Spain, she had academic meetings with lecturers from the Department of Hispanic Philology, Dr. Dunia Gras and Dr. Edgardo Dorby from the University of Barcelona.
Finally, as author of fiction, she participated in the Discussion “The echoes of war in narrative” together with Cuban writer Karla Suárez at the Lata Peinada Library.
